About Lansing Mobile Massage Therapy

A Lansing-based team of licensed mobile therapists focused on therapeutic, results-driven bodywork delivered in your home, hotel, or office. Michigan licensed, ongoing continuing education, and a calm setup wherever you are.

Why We Built a Mobile Practice, Not a Spa

There are spas in Lansing. There are franchise chains. There are practitioners working out of back rooms. What we noticed was missing was a service that took bodywork seriously and met clients where they actually are. People with real complaints (chronic back pain, recurring headaches, a busted-up training cycle, pregnancy aches) shouldn't have to drag themselves across town and sit in traffic before they can finally feel better.

So that's what we built. A team of licensed therapists who travel to you with everything needed for a quiet, professional session: portable table, fresh linens, bolsters, oil, music. We stay long-term, not contractors who rotate every six months. Detailed intake on the first visit and notes that carry forward to every session after. The vibe is calm and unhurried, but the work is therapeutic.

Licensing and Credentials

Every therapist on our team is licensed in the State of Michigan. That requires graduation from a board-approved massage therapy program, passing the MBLEx (Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination), and ongoing CEU requirements every license renewal period. Our team usually exceeds the CEU minimum because we like to learn.

Specialty trainings vary by therapist and include certifications and advanced courses in prenatal massage, sports recovery and event work, myofascial release, cupping protocols, trigger point therapy, and oncology-aware bodywork. Ask at booking and we'll match you with the therapist whose training fits what you need.

Who We Serve

The bulk of our regulars fall into a few groups. State of Michigan employees who'd rather book a lunch-break session at the office than fight downtown traffic for one. MSU students, faculty, and athletes who book sessions in apartments and dorm common spaces. Pregnant clients across all trimesters who'd rather not get up from the couch. Runners and lifters. Manual workers from Lansing's manufacturing employers. Pain management clients working through chronic conditions or recovering from injuries. And plenty of people who just want one good hour a month for themselves, at home.

We've worked with people in their twenties through their eighties. First-time massage clients and people who've been getting bodywork for thirty years. The thing every client has in common: when we set up in their space, the next hour is theirs.

Our Approach

Three things shape how we work. First, we listen. Second, we document. Third, we adjust. Pressure that worked last month might be too much this month if you're sleep-deprived. The plan from your intake might shift if a new symptom comes up. Massage therapy works best as a relationship over time, not a one-off transaction. We treat it that way, every visit.

The Lansing Connection

We chose to build a mobile practice in Lansing because Lansing needed one. Capital city. State employees with packed schedules. MSU and the East Lansing crowd just minutes away. Strong manufacturing presence. A community that values quality work and doesn't waste time on flash. We try to match that ethos by saving you the commute.
